Climate Change
The increased global temperatures which have consequently resulted from the increased levels of greenhouse gases will be affecting many aspects of our lives. Climate change will affect a large number of things like hurricanes, extreme summer heat, and wildfires. These changes will harm our health, produce more fires, affect our taste buds, and overall, will change our life. First of all, what is climate change? Climate change refers to a wide range of changes occurring in the climate of the planet. Climate change can be termed as the relationship between the level of carbon dioxide and temperature changes on the earth.
This changing of the climate has had a drastic impact on the human race, and specifically the younger generation. This affects younger generations as the nature around them will be radically different than that of the older generation. Heat waves will be experienced worldwide, and extreme heat will be burning through the sky in the form of clouds. This will lead to total disasters such as wildfires, which are taking over the world as well as every situation on earth is also challenged by the rising temperatures. Climate change will make our planet look different in the near future. However, there are solutions to this; climate change is going to impact everyone on earth, so people must make a change of their own lifestyle to have a peaceful future. Below are four ways to decrease the effects of climate change.
Strive for clean energy sources
This includes solar, hydrogen, wind, and even geothermal power. Everyone should strive to produce a clean power source for the world by adopting sustainable practices to prepare for the future. For example, source solar energy to the town and store some of it. After the sun's rays go down, and the sun doesn't show, it will be stored in a more favorable area. Use this energy to process water. This way, the amount of water is higher than the amount being used, so it is not as tainted as when using the fossil fuels. Reduce your carbon footprint. This includes composting products and materials. Ask questions when you are informed, try to see how we can minimize our carbon footprint. Reduce as much as possible, but still, need energy and buildings to function.
Conserve fresh water.
It is human nature to want to utilize liquid water, this has to stop. Water is a vital element of life, but it comes from rainwater, oceans, farms, streams, lakes, and rivers. Use water wisely in order to use freshwater. Carefully choose water, not bad water; that is when the water becomes contaminated by environmental decay. Use stores water. This way, there are more freshwater sources available. Ask your water utility if they have alternate water supplies.
Invest in water conservation techniques.
There are many techniques to protect your water supply. Underground cisterns, direct well system, concrete well system, and trench water system are all on your checklist. You should seek to plant trees near-surface drainage. Additionally, water insects that are less established need to be carefully controlled. The place where the insects' mate, their survival is enhanced. Cows are not just on their milk for the whole year, but the whole period of milk production. As cows have to feed more abundantly than cows, you should consider that water is our utmost resource within this day and age with the resources you have.
If everyone took a step and protected the Earth and its resources, as the UN says, the world would be a safer place. However, this will be very difficult for many people to consider. Everyone should take action against the usage of fossil fuels and landfills. This increase of carbon dioxide, carbon dioxide, and global temperatures could become unmanageable. If we cannot take our own actions or make proactive moves, another big problem would come 10 to 100 years. Nevertheless, everyone should fight for a peaceful future for their children. This way, we would all be happy and secure.
